Syracuse Women’s Club Hockey traveled to SUNY Oswego this past Sunday to play an exhibition game, their first game since officially joining AAU Hockey (Amateur Athletic Union).

This was the first (exhibition) game in Syracuse orange and blue for the following rookies: Julianna Bucci, Neve Padulo, Sarah Andersen, Eve Chace, Carson Schuyler, KJ Jacobs and Harper Keenan.

Hannah O’Dowd led the way scoring four points, three goals, and an assist. Due to Hannah’s efforts both offensively and defensively, she was named as the Syracuse Player of the Game. Eden Price tallied two goals and two assists, a four-point outing. Rookie Neve Padulo had a great start to her rookie campaign, scoring two goals and an assist.

Emma Lacz showcased her skill in net by stopping all three shots she faced, and rookie Harper Keenan made four saves in her Syracuse goaltending debut.

A total of 14 goals were scored and nearly 70 shots on goal from your Syracuse Orange, a complete display of dominance against the Oswego Lakers.

Next up: Syracuse vs. Binghamton at Tennity Ice Pavilion on September 29 at 1pm.
